It is wonderful to be here in Florence with such a great group of people. I am trying to settle in to the new schedule and meet everyone- I still haven't met all of the architecture students yet.
I have been enjoying our first assignment- I think it is helping me to be more aware of my surroundings. I have been noticing all sorts of things I don't think I would have otherwise. Today was day trips to Pistoia and Lucca. I loved seeing the della Robbia pieces in these towns. It was a lot of fun but I am exhausted. I am feeling a bit out of practice with my drawing.
