The way that I have been gathering things over the course of this week has been similar to the way that I was writing down my dreams about a week before I went to the school. I wandered around the city, on or off errands, keeping the assignment I was given in the back of my head and keeping a half eye out for things that might be relevant. After I experienced or observed something, I let it degest for a while in my head. I then took out a moleskin journal to write down my experiences, accompanying them with simple illustrations. Just about everything I wrote and drew was taken from memories of my experinces in Florence, which include interactions with people as well as various places and things i have seen.
