First Weeks in Florence

I spent Christmas day on an airplane into Paris. From there, my family and I travelled (with way too much luggage) to Venice, Rome, and finally Florence. It was incredibly hectic and stressful, but a wonderful trip nonetheless. I am definitely happy to have finally settled into my new home for the next semester and just want to find time to relax and enjoy the city before I start travelling all over the place again. I'm living with Rachel and Allison in a home near the center of the city. The leather market is right outside our door and the Duomo is just a few blocks away. I think it's a great place to live and Vincenzo, our "dad", cooks delicious meals for us during the week, makes his own bread, surprises us with chocolate, and has even provided us with wireless internet. What more could I ask for?

Nothing too exciting has happened yet... so the pictures are just random ones from my travelling thus far.
